Sea6 Energy was built on the vision of sustainably and ethically harnessing the oceans to build a future for mankind independent of traditional energy sources.
Conceptualised by a team of PhDs in engineering, agriculture and biotechnology, Sea6 Energy was formed to develop renewable energy solutions to utilize the potential of the ocean to develop eco-friendly land alternatives.

NELSON VADASSERY
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Over a decade of experience in biotechnology, engineering design, automation, prototyping and manufacturing & system design, Nelson leads a multidisciplinary team working on the development of high throughput biomass production from the oceans in India and Indonesia. He has earned a place in the Forbes India's List of "30 under 30", 2018.
SHRIKUMAR SURYANARAYAN
Managing Director & Co-Founder
Entrepreneur of the Year In 2012, Mr. Suryanarayan has over 30 years of leadership experience ranging from being the CEO at India's Translational Health Sciences Institute and President of the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises of India (ABLE) to being the President of R&D and Chief Scientific Advisor for Biocon Limited.
SRI SAILAJA NORI
Co-Founder and Director of Research and Development
Leads the research team to develop novel processes to convert Macroalgae into agricultural biostimulants, food ingredients, animal feed, biofuel and other Renewable chemicals. A co-inventor in 5 patents (2 granted) and co-author in 5 publications on seaplant derived products, she has been featured as special mention in “Science and Green Tech category” in Forbes India “30 under 30” list, 2018.
